Efficient detergent packaging
On detergent shelves in Czech stores, this iconic green deer immediately stands out. It represents a very traditional brand and a family of entrepreneurs who became co-founders of global giant Unilever. This washing powder is still based on Jelen (Czech for ‘deer’) soap, which began production back in 1848, laying the foundation for the Schicht business empire.
In keeping with its sustainable brand image, the corrugated boxes for Jelen washing powder – which has been available again since 2015 – are made of coated virgin fibre cardboard, printed on the reverse. This creates a unique colour effect that appears uncoated. An integrated tear strip makes it super easy to open the packs, which come in different sizes and varieties.
