FSC® stands for Forest Stewardship Council®. The FSC® label confirms sustainable forest management that is ecologically, socially and economically compatible. 

STI Group was the first company in the corrugated cardboard industry to certify its German production plants according to FSC®, starting at the end of 2008. Its international subsidiaries and sales offices followed shortly afterwards.

PEFC

The PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) supports the preservation and ecological balance of forests; various raw materials used in the company bear the PEFC symbol.

Climate Partner

The STI Group calculates order-related the PCF (Product Carbon Footprint) for packaging and POS displays as optional service. Companies can choose climate projects from the ClimatePartner portfolio and financially support them based on the determined CO2 emissions and signify their contribution with the "Financial climate contribution" label.

UN Global Compact

Since 2010, STI Group has been a member of the largest and most important global network for corporate social responsibility - the UN Global Compact. This strategic initiative enables companies to align their international business activities with ten recognised principles relating to human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption. They result from the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organisation’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles of Rights at Work.
