Environment Management and Energy Management

The international ISO 14001:2005 standard lays down globally accepted requirements for environmental management systems.

STI Group facilities in UK and Hungary are already ISO 14001 certified. Our other locations also follow this standard; it is incorporated into our IMS (Integrated Management System).

ISO 50001, which defines requirements for energy management systems, complements ISO 14001:2005 and was introduced to our sites in Alsfeld, Grebenhain, Lauterbach und Neutraubling in 2015.

STI Group has adopted an energy policy that not only fulfills the statutory requirements and the self-regulatory initiatives of industry associations, but also meets economic and environmental requirements.

Both ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 focus on continuous improvement as a way for organisations to achieve their environmental performance and energy efficiency goals. This continuous improvement process is based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology.
