Three Ecovadis Platinum ratings

In 2026, the STI Group is once again among the world’s leading companies in the field of sustainability. Our third consecutive Ecovadis Platinum rating recognises our outstanding commitment to the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

This makes us currently the only medium-sized packaging company in Germany to hold this top rating at group level across all branches and production sites.

The Ecovadis rating is now one of the most important benchmarks for supplier assessment in the industry. Indeed, for many consumer goods companies, achieving a certain level of performance is even a condition for collaboration on packaging and POS solutions.

This highest possible accolade confirms our strategy: we view sustainability as a long-term responsibility, pursue our goals systematically and have consistently embedded sustainability into our business processes.

Systematic sustainability

As a member of the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), we support the 1.5-degree target of the Paris Agreement and are committed to achieving net-zero emissions.

At the same time, we are continuously expanding our sustainability-related certifications across our seven European production sites. Through our Circular Innovation programme, we develop resource-efficient packaging solutions that combine environmental responsibility with economic viability. Lightweight solutions, plant-based barrier coatings and material-efficient packaging concepts help our customers achieve their own sustainability targets.
