STI Group wins OBAL ROKU Award for rapid set-up display

For over 20 years, exceptional packaging and POS solutions in the Czech market have been honoured with a prestigious OBAL ROKU Award. This year’s competition saw the Shelf-click display, designed and produced by STI Group, win the expert jury’s hearts and minds to be awarded the coveted trophy. Hana Rydvalova, Team Leader Client Services / Marketing STI Group, received the trophy at the awards ceremony during the Pack Summit in early October.

Set up in seconds, the Shelf-click display is not only popular with jury members but also with co-packers, field sales and merchandising teams: just pull forward the sides, push down the shelves and slot them into place – done!

Shelf-click is a pre-glued corrugated board display available in different sizes, with a range of side panels and shelving. It’s particularly well suited for retailers and countries where displays are assembled and stocked in store.

Not only is Shelf-click a flexible design, it is highly versatile in use too. Dressed up with customised cladding, side panels and headers, one basic structure can be quickly and cost-effectively transformed to suit any number of different brands and/or seasons.

’Shelf-click is especially popular in CEE and the Netherlands, where most displays are set up and merchandised in store rather than being delivered prefilled. A growing number of city store formats make the construction interesting for other countries too,’ explains Rydvalova. Innovation expertise with customer understanding

At OBAL ROKU 2017, 11 expert jury members judged 99 submissions against criteria such as innovation, communication impact, product protection, consumer needs and retailer requirements, as well as sustainability.

Rydvalova adds: ‘Winning an award in the most prestigious Czech packaging competition demonstrates our innovative strength and the skill of our designers in developing POS solutions that meet or exceed market requirements.’
