For over 150 years, the specialist confectioners at Reber have been seducing chocolate lovers with their exquisite compositions. A golden corrugated grand piano provides Reber Mozart specialty chocolates with an opulent setting in store that reflects their high quality ingredients, traditional family recipe and masterful production.
This highly refined display is the successor to the two genuine gold-coloured pianos that had previously travelled to selected retail customers across Germany to support various retail initiatives. Not only does this cardboard version save on planning and logistics costs, it also offers a nationwide POS presence. The display is placed in the luxury confectionery departments of department stores such as KaDeWe, Dallmayer, Galeria Gourmet or Karstadt Lebensmittel.
Attention to detail
In keeping with a prestige retail environment, this special display is captivating with its attention to detail and is finished with gold foil. Stickers on the keyboard, the Mozart logo and Mozart lettering contribute to its convincingly authentic look. Even the pallet cover is part of the set, resembling a concert stage.
The chocolates are presented inside the opened lid of the grand piano and replenished by Reber field merchandisers. Sent partly pre-assembled and lying flat, for ease and efficiency, final assembly and filling with product is done in store.
The frequency with which the displays need to be refilled by merchandisers is proof of the campaign’s considerable success, which has inspired shoppers and retailers alike.
