Ballantine’s leaves an impression
The slogan "Stay true – leave an impression" stands for Ballantine’s, a legacy brand, and sets the scene for its brand positioning in retail. The whisky stands out as a premium product with the elegant finish of its promotional packaging made of cardboard.
The checkered look in matt and gloss varnish brings to mind the Scottish origins of the brand; the brand logo with gold foil embossing underscores its premium nature. A window offers a view of the bottle and glasses inside. It’s also very handy; a carry handle integrated in the packaging encourages customers to pick up the product and carry it home.
Packaging for eight European markets
STI Petöfi Nyomda Kft., the Hungarian subsidiary of the STI Group, created this sophisticated gift packaging for eight European markets. Compared to last year’s promotion, the current version stands out more prominently on the shelf as it’s height is a little greater than its width – an arrangement better perceived by the human eye.
Established in the year 1827 in Edinburgh, Ballantine`s Whisky brand belongs to Pernod Ricard Deutschland GmbH since 2005. The special mix ratio of Ballantine’s is top secret. Malt and grain whiskies from four whisky regions of Scotland are used in production.
