Technical equipment The integration of a company-own tool making department, the STI CAD Laser Form GmbH, enables us to construct die-cutting tools flexible and optimised for specific production needs.
CAD-data provided by the product development department are the basis for the construction of the die cutting tools which are prepared by means of two modern laser-cutting machines and consequently lined by hand. Using CAD-technology the data provided by the product development department can be used for:
The preparation of a palleting plan
Cut designs and sheet optimisation
The preparation of Astralon sheets for graphic design
Depending on customer requirements the die-cutting and stripping tools as well as the reciprocating tools will be perfectly co-ordinated and, consequently, pre-assembled for a quick tool change.
