Stylish Mosquito repellent in attractive packaging

STI Group nominated for the Pro Carton ECMA Award

The Pro Carton ECMA award recognises outstanding folding cartons at the European level. Design, convenience and brand communication are decisive factors in the evaluation process for the industry's most prestigious awards. A folding carton developed by the STI Group also scored points based on these criteria and is a finalist in the Non-Food category of the competition.

PARA’KITO™ offers a natural form of mosquito protection. Pellets created with a patented formula from essential oils are integrated in stylish wristbands or practical clips and protect from mosquito buzz and bites.

A folding box developed by the STI Group ensures a unified global image for the brand. It showcases the wrist bands and also the clips. The refill pellets are showcased in a smaller version of the packaging. The triangular shape allows the PARA`KITOTM to be placed upright or hung on eurohooks. This makes the packaging suitable for use in all retail stores.

Natural Look in focus

The minimalist design creates a perfect balance between the colourful design of the products and their natural ingredients. This effect is achieved by the use of six-colour, offset-printed Kraftliner material. The high proportion of brown pulp in the carton highlights the natural quality of the products making it a perfect fit with the PARA’KITO™ brand.

International Collaboration

Together with the experts of the STI Group, the founders and marketing managers of PARA’KITO™ were also involved in developing the packaging. The packaging was produced in the Hungarian plant of the STI Group, the pellets came from France, the bands and clips were manufactured in Hong Kong and the final kitting and packaging was done in the Czech Republic.

Aleksandar Stojanovic, Chief Sales Officer of the STI Group, believes that the  nomination of the packaging for the Pro Carton ECMA award was well-deserved. "The PARA’KITO™ packaging not only stands for the creativity and innovation capacity of the STI Group, but also for its expertise in international collaboration across different company locations." says Stojanovic.
