The annually organised trade competition is the „Hungaropack Hungarian Packaging Competition” ,aiming to introduce and evaluate the improvements in packaging industry and to make modern packaging materials, implements and technology known and promoted all over Hungary .

The competitiors’works are evaluated by the points of a jury consisting of well known experts and representatives of organizations providing special prizes. Winners of HUNGAROPACK awards, special prizes and qualifications are chosen on the base of their evaluation. The jury focused on the followings: efficiency of product protection, modernism, originality, new ideas, promotional effects/design, environmentally friendly approach, recycling, consumers’ needs/ logistical characteristics

Six of the seven products nominated by the Petőfi Nyomda Kft. were granted with awards:

• TRADE MAGAZINE SPECIAL AWARD

Prize winners and their works are qualified to World Packaging Organization’s WORLDSTAR packaging competition .

The award ceremony was held on Budatranspack International Packaging and Material Handling Trade Exhibition on 9-11th November.
