Lauterbach; 2012_02_22 – The extraordinary gift packaging for "Dewar’s White Label" and "Dewar's 12" is among the highest quality found anywhere on Russian spirits shelves. Bacardi opted for multiple packaging concepts to ensure appropriate communication of its brand to the Russian target audience.
The complex gift box is remarkably good looking: The elegant design is highly suggestive of the brand's logo itself and draws attention to the product as it sits on the shelf. A cut-out window ensures that consumers can see the contents at a glance – a bottle and one or two glasses. The idea, conceptualisation, design and production all originated within the STI Group.
High-alcohol spirits in a lovely wrapper
The "Dewar's 12" premium brand comes presented in gift packaging designed to look like a book. The hot embossed logo is especially prominent over the dark blue outer paper of the carton, with the "spine" of the book curved like the real thing. The cover closes magnetically. The bottle and glasses are embedded into a deep-drawn cardboard insert that is dark blue and flocked. The curving "D" from the Dewar name serves as the dominant design element on the book's 'cover', and curls right into the cut-out window.
White and light – for young whisky experts
The gift packaging designed for "Dewar's White Label" speaks clearly to a younger generation of whisky aficionados. It stands out visually through its light, white-and-red design. An inlay of laminated corrugated board holds the bottle and glass in place. The packaging is delivered flat and can be set up in one easy step.
Designed in Germany, made in China, assembled in Scotland
The implementation of the high-quality series is a fine example of efficient STI Project Management. The packaging concept as well as design, sourcing and supply chain issues were handled perfectly with the help of STI locations in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Warsaw, Lauterbach, Alsfeld and Gillingham.
