Chika chaka: tic tac is the sound of tomorrow! Just in time for the 2012 European Championship, tic tac is presenting a rattle for fans to create the atmosphere perfect at any fan mile, clubhouse, grill party or stadium. The attractive promotional packaging, implemented in cooperation with the STI Group, is available for a limited time in a limited edition since mid-April.
Inspired by the a group of students who submitted a brilliant project to the STI Design Award 2010, the brand managers at Ferrero commissioned the designers at the STI Group to produce a fan rattle constructed to work with tic tacs: after all, when you shake a tic tac package, the familiar rattle that it makes fits sounds quite like a maraca.
It took numerous iterations to convert that concept into a functional end product that satisfied the client. The technical implementation of the tic tac fan rattle needed numerous modifications and product tests. After all, the goal was to create a solution that was efficient to produce yet simple to stock.
The results are meant to be seen and heard: the tic tac fan rattle is destined to become a joyous, omnipresent mood-maker in football stadiums and fan miles. Every fan rattle contains two 18-gram packages of tic tacs, one mint and one orange. The new fan articles are available in two different designs: with typical football motifs and in black-red-gold colours for Germany fans.
