Establishment of an internal pre-print unit as a profit center (now STI ProGrafik GmbH).
With the development of the first displays in the new plant in Grebenhain the STI Group strikes new paths. In addition to corrugated board, acrylic glass and plastics are used, too.
1955- 1960
The birth of offset-printed corrugated cardboard revolutionises the packaging market. With the development of chrowell (a cardboard sheet laminated on single-face corrugated cardboard and with offset printing), packaging does more than just protect and transport. It is now an advertising medium as well.
Growing demand leads to the founding of an addition production facility in Freiensteinau.
1951
Cornerstone laid on what is still the primary factory in Lauterbach.
1948
First efforts at export – a vine tube, developed in Lauterbach as a transport carton for grape seedlings, is shipped to France and Italy.
First use of flexographic printing.
1945
Temporary relocation to a riding arena near Sickendorf. Working partially with machines rescued from the ruins and new developments, Richard Stabernack and his son Wilhelm pick up the production of film canisters and round containers for cheese.
1940-1944
Development of a steam-driven lamination machine that can enhance simple gray cartons and straw board with a high-glass paper. The result is packaging with advertising appeal.
Destruction of the production site in Offenbach.
1930-1940
Construction of in-house R&D department, industrial solutions through standardisation for the packaging field.
Development of a round container for cheese, with the Lauterbach creamery among the first customers.
1929
50th anniversary of company founding – the prevailing economic crisis was only tangentially felt.
1926
Successful management through specialisation among top management: Georg Stabernack assumes responsibility for the operational issues, Richard Stabernack serves as technical director. Gustav Stabernack GmbH plies its trades under the claim "biggest company and premier name in the industry".
Shoe cartons for Offenbach's leather goods industry and fine cardboard packaging are the company's primary products.

Expansion of the bindery to include "cardboard product production" and installation of first automated technology.
