Flexographic printing process involves a flexible relief plate (cliché). Ink is transferred using reverse-reading plastic or rubber plates directly onto a sheet of corrugated board. The process requires water-based inks, with a doctor blade to control the dosing. Up to 5 inks can be printed in one pass on reams in formats up to 1260 x 1680 mm.
