- The offset inks that serve as STI Group's standard are already produced from up to 70% regenerative materials.
- The use of 'eco-inks' for packaging with direct contact to foodstuffs
- Central ink supply for printers reduces unused ink.
- Unused ink recycled by ink suppliers.
- During flexographic printing, only solvent-based, water based and UV inks are used.
- The dispersion varnishes used during offset and flexographic printing are environmentally friendly and safe for humans and can be disposed of and recycled with the print product.
- Dispersion varnishes are manufactured on a water basis.
- UV glossy coatings are only used where specifically requested by the customer. Once hardened these too are safe and environmentally friendly.
- The colours and varnishes used by STI Group are free of pure resins and ITX additives (Isopropyl thioxanthone). The UV print inks and coatings we use contain no benzophenone or 4-methylbenzophenone
