We consider it our social responsibility to be internationally competitive, to make a profit and to grow as a business. That is how we create value. Not only for ourselves but also for society – as employers, partners for our customers, promoters of social projects and not least as taxpayers. We see the path to achieving this in sustainable development and responsible conduct.

The STI Group's Code of Conduct provides STI Group employees at all hierarchical levels with clear guidelines on how employees should interact with each other, with customers and business partners, with the company's intellectual property, etc. It is intended to help us to avoid legal risks and to continue living up to the good reputation of the company.

Transparency and credibility are essential components of our corporate culture. Our international profile is shaped by what we do: cultural openness that is put into practice, as well as tolerance and respect inside and out of our company.

The aim of the STI Group is to sustainably increase the value of the company. This aim rests on a set of elements that reflect a general philosophy: justice, social responsibility, responsible care, sustainable environmental conservation, production and product safety, high productivity, optimum cost effectiveness, customer orientation.

Corporate conduct must be respectful of the legal systems of different countries and regions, as well as of the rules of coexistence and ethical standards that impose a variety of obligations on the company and its employees at home and abroad.

STI Group supports UN Global Compact

A commitment to sustainability and social responsibility are of growing importance in our globalised world. The global compact codex of values encompasses principles that the STI Group supports for years, including support of human rights and labour laws, environmental protections and the fight against corruption. The overarching goal of the UN initiative is socially responsible corporate behaviour.

In joining the Global Compact, the STI Group has actively adopted the initiative's principles into its strategy and corporate and working cultures, including integration into its code of conduct. In this way the corporate group is underscoring not just its creativity and innovative force, but also its role as a competent partner for its customers in the areas of sustainability and social responsibility.
