More than 200 designers and product developers work to shape and engineer STI Group's intelligent packaging solutions and creative ideas for tomorrow's markets.
They are supported by the latest CAD technology and a fine sense of artistic touch.
The product designers at STI Group know their handicraft well - from toe to tip. As packaging machinists, industrial designers or paper-product engineers, they've learned first-hand about the various specifications and challenges involved with every piece of packaging or display.
International network that accounts for the requirements of retailers
Networked CAD systems facilitate cross-national access to a communal think tank, right up to the integration of the end customer via the STI eXchange web service platform.
The developers have access to a retail database with extensive specifications and illustrations to help them meet the needs of retailers in the various countries as effectively as possible in all categories.
Integrated product and process development
The product development team works in close coordination with the production department to ensure that STI Group-designed solutions are optimised for production even during the development phase. Goal-oriented product development ensures that customers are presented with solutions that fit their budget and do justice to the quality of the goods.
Once generated, the engineering data is then used to create the pallet packing scheme, print designs and even the contours for the laser-produced stamping die moulds.
