The first day at school is a special day in the life of a child. This year for the young learners there was not only the obligatory goody bag.

For starting school GABA Deutschland GmbH launched a Germany-wide promotion with the title “Off to school with a smile”. The “Junior Lunchbox” created for this contained two tubes of elmex® junior toothpaste. The additional benefit is clear: Healthy snack for healthy teeth.

From the sleeve to the display

To stage this action to best advantage at the POS, first of all a cardboard sleeve was developed that communicates the idea of the action. For the placement on the shelf or on the counter, a retail-optimised shelf packaging is used that can be opened with one hand movement. A floor stand with 24 boxes for smaller shops and also a ¼ pallet display for supermarkets with 52 boxes provided a successful distribution and placement.

Everything included

The display development for elmex® junior is an example for the cross-plant design and production network and also the full-service requirement of the STI Group. Alongside the development and implementation of the promotion elements in various factories, all the production stages of the action were completed by STI – from assembling the lunch boxes and their cardboard sleeves to the packing and delivery of the displays.
