Monopoly celebrates a big birthday - special display for the classic game

Everyone knows the feeling – just when things are going well, you suddenly land on Boardwalk, where your rival has just built a second hotel. But then: “You have won second prize in a beauty contest," a Community Chest card informs you. Well, that's at least something!

Monopoly is an undisputed classic among family board games. For its 75th birthday the game’s manufacturer Hasbro and the agency team from the STI Group came up with a special POS display to pay tribute to the occasion: a display that mimics the key features of the game’s anniversary edition "Monopoly Revolution".

Drawing on the round shape of the game board, the STI Group created an attention-getting elliptical shape for the display that was perfect for drawing attention in stores. Place was reserved not just for the anniversary edition of the game, but for flyers with information about the Monopoly birthday as well.

“Monopoly Revolution” does away with paper money, using an electric controller to manage payments with a debit card as well as accompany the happenings on the board with fitting sounds and music.
