STI Group receives two awards at POPAI Award Australia and New Zealand
Both concepts are optimally attuned to the brands and distribution channels and have been effective at boosting sales, the Australian jury found.
Ferrero Kinder Surprise took the bronze medal in the category "Department Stores/Mass Merchants – Temporary", while Kleenex earned silver in the category "Professional Healthcare - Medical/Pharmacist/Veterinary – Temporary".
Lively display design supports POS performance for innovative Kleenex boxes
The free-standing floor display for Kimberly Clark Australia draws eyes through an arched design that parlays the energy from the unusual new "Shape & Style" packaging. The shelves are simply inserted into the corrugated board display. The STI Group were challenged with creating the artwork to ensure that the display still looks good even when a portion of the product has been sold, the interior of the display also features a variety of designs.
The corrugated board display measures 400(W) x 400(D) x 1400(H) mm, which fits the needs of Australia retailers. Stores and shopper are also enticed by a 3D header.
Ferrero Kinder Display a winner with stores and consumers
The most memorable feature on the POS solution for Ferrero Kinder is a transparent plastic tower that serves as a display case for the product and its content. Toy figures and toy-filled chocolate eggs are presented alternating on four trays. The transparent look, closeness to the product and direct access from both sides all help welcome in the target audiences of children and their parents.
The Ferrero Tower uses an attention-getting design to draw eyes from a distance, which exerts a direct influence on the sales figures: The placements on the Australian markets led to a significant bump in sales.
The commendations in Australia brought the STI Group's 2011 tally of international POPAI awards to 12, with the other awards coming in France, Germany, Poland and Great Britain.
