Standardised transit packaging (FEFCO-CODE)

One helpful aide for selecting suitable packaging is the international fibreboard case code, known as the FEFCO Code. It offers a large selection of folding boxes as well as numerous examples of die-cut packaging. Working with international standard product types promotes better economy in the packaging process, which is why they are used primarily for classic transport packaging.

Additional norms apply for the packaging of dangerous goods as well, drawn from international treaties on dangerous goods and hazardous materials.
