Over 200 STI Group employees are active in Germany and abroad working on creating custom solutions for product development and process and production innovation. For complex jobs they network their thoughts and ideas, coming together as interdisciplinary teams.

Cutting-edge CAD technology is put to work establishing a baseline for streamlined designs during development of the packaging. Data created in this way form the basis for the development of the packaging design as well as the creation of the stamping die moulds. Goal-oriented product development ensures that customers are presented with solutions that fit their budget and the quality of the goods.

The product development team works in close coordination with the production team to ensure even during the development phase that solutions designed by STI have been optimised from a production standpoint.

The result is virtual 3D packaging ideas that are graphically designed and whose functionality can be tested on the computer.

Cost and time savings

Virtual packaging on the computer means first and foremost shortened process development and test phases. The mouse-driven simulation eliminates the need for time-intensive physical tests of packing and reduces time and personnel overhead for the construction of samples and models.
